Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has an overall score of 65.9, which is just a bit better than the iPad 2's 62.1 score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch body is incredibly newer, a bit thinner and lighter than iPad 2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch comes with Android 4.2 OS, while iPad 2 works with iOS 7.x OS.
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a little faster CPU than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also counts with 512 MB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a little sharper display than iPad 2, because it has a bit higher 800 x 1280px resolution, a little bit more pixels per inch in the display and a quite larger screen.
The iPad 2 features a bit more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory. The Apple iPad 2 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has a 2 percent bigger battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a slightly better camera than iPad 2, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is also a lot cheaper.
