Comparison review
The iPad Air has a global score of 74.1, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's global score of 67.4. IPad Air has iOS 8.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 OS. The iPad Air is a just a little thicker and heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. The Apple iPad Air features a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a higher pixel amount in each inch in the display, a larger screen and a way better 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution.
The iPad Air counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a slower graphics processing unit working at 600 MHz and a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the iPad Air also counts with a 64-bits processor. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features just a bit more memory capacity for apps and games than iPad Air, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
IPad Air takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a camera with a 5 MP resolution, the iPad Air also has a way better (Full HD) video quality. The Apple iPad Air counts with a really longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 8820mAh of battery capacity against 4450mAh.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the iPad Air is also the cheapest one.
