Comparison review
The iPad Air has a global score of 72.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's 68.7 general score. Although it's the best tablet in our current comparison, it must be noted that it's also a a lot heavier and a little bit thicker tablet. IPad Air has iOS 8.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch comes with Android 4.2.2 OS.
IPad Air has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a bigger display, a higher amount of pixels per screen inch and a lot better 1536 x 2048px resolution. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad Air, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB and 16 GB more internal memory capacity.
IPad Air counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has lesser RAM memory and a worse graphics processor running at 600 MHz, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad Air also counts with a 64-bit processor. IPad Air features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a 5 megapixels resolution camera, the iPad Air also has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
