The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66.2, which is just a bit better than iPod Touch 5th Generation's 62.7 general score. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's design is newer, but much heavier and extremely thicker than iPod Touch 5th Generation. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 works with Android 4.4.2 OS, while iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with iOS 7.x OS.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a lot smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1136 x 640, it also counts with a much higher pixels number per inch in the screen. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a bit more powerful processor than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has a faster 450 MHz GPU, more processing cores and more RAM.
