Google Nexus 10 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, with a overall score of 68.1 against 66.2. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Google Nexus 10 has newer 5.1 version while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features. Even being the best in this review, the Google Nexus 10 construction is older, noticeably heavier and thicker than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Google Nexus 10, because although it has 512 MB less RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores (although they are slower). The Google Nexus 10 counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a bigger display, a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Nexus 10, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 64 GB. The Google Nexus 10 features a way better battery life than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has 9000mAh of battery capacity.
Google Nexus 10 captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a lot higher video definition and a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
Although Google Nexus 10 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
