The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a global score of 72.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's general score of 66.2. The Huawei MediaPad X2 is a newer device, and it is also a little thinner and incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has the newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it gives you some extra features.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a lot better pixels density. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores, 1,5 GB more RAM and a 64-bit processor.
Huawei MediaPad X2 features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory. Huawei MediaPad X2 features a bit superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Huawei MediaPad X2 captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much better resolution back-facing camera and a lot better 1920x1080 video definition.
