The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66.2, which is slightly better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's 65.5 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a much newer tablet device, and it is also way lighter and somewhat thinner than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2 version, so it offers a couple additional features.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit superior processor than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a slower 450 megahertz GPU, it also counts with 512 MB more RAM and a greater number of 1200 megahertz cores. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit sharper display than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a greater screen density.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 shoots better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 4450mAh.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest, making it an obvious call.
