Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66.2, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's global score of 60.8. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a way newer tablet, and it is also just a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has more RAM, an additional graphics processing unit and a higher number of 1200 megahertz cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a better resolution of 1280 x 800px, a just a bit better amount of pixels in each inch of screen and a quite larger display.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has 16 GB more internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has an 11 percent more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest.
