Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, having a overall score of 75.2 against 66.2. Both tablets in this comparison have the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design is just a little heavier but just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 450 megahertz graphics processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a lot higher display pixels density, a way better 2560 x 1600 resolution and a little bit bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much better 8 MP resolution back facing camera and a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
