The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, having a overall score of 60.8 against 60.8. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a more recent 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's design is newer, a bit lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher number of cores (and they are faster), an extra GPU and more RAM memory. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a lot higher pixels number per screen inch and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus takes a lot better pictures and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
