Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a general score of 60.8, which is just a bit better than the Google Nexus 7's 59.3 global score. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's design is a little bit thinner than Google Nexus 7, but it is a little bit heavier and was released about 9 months before. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the previous 4.1.2 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.

Google Nexus 7 features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Google Nexus 7 also has a better 800 x 1280px resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Google Nexus 7 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Nexus 7 also has an extra graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores (and they are faster).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features much more storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus takes much better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7.

Google Nexus 7 has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 4325mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, otherwise you can save some money and get the Google Nexus 7, giving up a couple specs and features.
