Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a general score of 60.8, which is slightly better than HTC Flyer's 58.7 overall score. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus design is incredibly thinner and lighter than HTC Flyer, although both were only released with a few months difference. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a newer 4.1.2 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2, so it gives you a lot of extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the HTC Flyer both have quite similar displays, both of them have the same screen density, the same exact 600 x 1024px resolution and a same size display. HTC Flyer counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has 1 lesser cores (although they are faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the HTC Flyer also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Flyer, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB. HTC Flyer has a battery duration that's very similar to the battery life in Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
The HTC Flyer has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the HTC Flyer also has a back camera with a lot higher 5 MP resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC Flyer, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC Flyer. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the HTC Flyer, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
