Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, getting a 69.2 score against 60.8. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 version. Galaxy Note 8.0 is a newer device, and it's also a little lighter and noticeably thinner than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a little bit larger display, a just a bit higher display pixels density and a better 800 x 1280px resolution. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has 16 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has more cores, a graphics co-processor and more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 captures greater videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a back facing camera with much more MP.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
