The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a score of 60.8, which is a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's 57.6 general score. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has an older 4.1.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's body is way older, a lot thicker and a little heavier than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px, much more pixels per inch of display and a bit larger screen. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has more RAM memory and more processing cores.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with more memory capacity to install applications and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video definition and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, giving up some features and specifications.
