Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a little bit better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, having a score of 64.8 against 62.3. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 design is a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has 4.0.4 version and Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a higher count of pixels per inch in the display, a lot better 1920 x 1200px resolution and a quite bigger display. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory, a faster graphics co-processor working at 700 megahertz and a greater number of faster cores. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with longer battery lifetime than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4060mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
