Comparison review
The iPad 3 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, getting a 71.1 score against 64.8. Even being the best we compare here, we must tell that it's also a thicker and incredibly heavier tablet device. IPad 3 counts with iOS 6.1 OS, while Galaxy Tab 7.7 works with Android 4.0.4 OS. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit better processing power than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have 2 processing cores and 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an extra GPU.
Apple iPad 3 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a better screen density, a larger screen and a way better resolution of 1536 x 2048px. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 32 GB.
The Apple iPad 3 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a lot better 5 MP resolution camera and a much better 1920x1080 video definition. The Apple iPad 3 counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a 11560mAh battery size instead of 5100mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the iPad 3 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an easy decision.
