The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is much better than Asus VivoTab Smart's 58.7 score. Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a somewhat thinner and extremely lighter tablet than Asus VivoTab Smart. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with Android 4.0.4 OS, while Asus VivoTab Smart works with Windows 8 OS. Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a sharper screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a really smaller display and a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a much better 533 MHz graphics processor and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a bigger memory to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Asus VivoTab Smart takes way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video quality and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Asus VivoTab Smart, resigning a couple specifications.
