The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than HTC Flyer, having a score of 64.8 against 58.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 design is notably thinner and incredibly lighter than the HTC Flyer, even though both of them were released only 7 months apart. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a faster GPU working at 320 MHz and a larger number of cores (although they are slower). Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a more vivid screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a better resolution of 800 x 1280px, a just a bit better pixels quantity in each inch of screen and a little bit larger display.
HTC Flyer features a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the HTC Flyer also has a way more mega pixels back camera. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has much more storage to install games and applications than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with superior battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC Flyer, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC Flyer. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save some money and buy the HTC Flyer, giving up some features and specifications.
