The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than LG G Pad 8.0, getting a score of 64.8 against 58.6. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has 4.0.4 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7's design is a little bit lighter and thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0.
The LG G Pad 8.0 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a faster graphics processing unit working at 450 MHz and 2 more processing cores (although they are slower). The LG G Pad 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 both count with incredibly similar screens, because although the LG G Pad 8.0 has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with a little larger screen.
LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a much more megapixels back camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 features better battery performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 21% greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go a couple features and specifications.
