The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, with a 69.2 score against 64.8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a just a little bit heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, but both are 0.31inches thick. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4, so it gives you a couple additional features and performance optimizations.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a little higher pixels density. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a faster graphics processing unit working at 1064 MHz, a higher amount of RAM memory and more processing cores.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note 8.0 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video definition, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has an 11% more battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it a great choice.
