The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's score of 61.7. These tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an older 4.0.4 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 body is just a little bit lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although it was released around a year before.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although it has a weaker graphics processor, they both have the same number of cores and 1 GB of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a better 800 x 1280px resolution, a quite larger display and a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a much better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a more megapixels camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go some features and specifications.
