Comparison review

Asus Fonepad 7 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 58.9 score against 58.8. Asus Fonepad 7 is a a lot lighter but somewhat thicker portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Asus Fonepad 7 has a more recent 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version.

The Asus Fonepad 7 features a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch of screen. Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

Asus Fonepad 7 has a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a 64-bit CPU and 2 more processing cores (but slower). Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a very superior battery duration than Asus Fonepad 7. Asus Fonepad 7 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
