Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a score of 58.8, which is a bit better than HTC Flyer's 58.7 overall score. Even though Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and the HTC Flyer were released only 6 months apart, Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's body is just a little heavier but also notably thinner than the HTC Flyer. Both tablets we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a newer 4.0 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2.

HTC Flyer has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has an inferior number of 1.5 GHz cores, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a bit sharper display than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a greater number of pixels per display inch, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a larger screen and a better resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

The HTC Flyer has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 32 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity. The HTC Flyer takes greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rates, the HTC Flyer also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 5 mega pixels resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a way better battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a 53% bigger battery capacity.
