Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is slightly better than LG G Pad 8.0, having a 58.8 score against 58.6. These devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has older 4.0 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's design is somewhat thinner but incredibly heavier than the LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a just a bit higher display density. LG G Pad 8.0 has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of cores (although they are slower) and an additional graphics processor.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a camera in the back with way more megapixels and a way better 1920x1080 video quality. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a way better battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 45% bigger battery capacity.
