The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's overall score of 58.1. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has the newer 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it provides some extra features. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's construction is noticeably newer and incredibly lighter, but just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920.
