The Asus Fonepad 7 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a 58.9 score against 58.1. Asus Fonepad 7 is a somewhat thicker but lighter tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but the Asus Fonepad 7 has newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0.

Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of faster cores and a 64 bits processor. Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a better display pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus Fonepad 7, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
