The Dell Venue 8 Pro is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a 59.6 score against 58.1. The Dell Venue 8 Pro is a a little thicker but lighter portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9. The Dell Venue 8 Pro comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 8.9 works with Android 3.0 OS. Dell Venue 8 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also counts with a little greater pixel count in each inch of screen.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores. The Dell Venue 8 Pro shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels. The Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also has an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has better battery performance than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4830mAh.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
