Comparison review

HTC Flyer is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a 58.7 score against 58.1. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but the HTC Flyer has newer 3.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it provides some nice extra features and optimized performance. Although the HTC Flyer and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 were only released 1 months apart, HTC Flyer's construction is much thicker but a little bit lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit better screen than HTC Flyer, and although they both have a better pixels amount in each display inch, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a larger screen and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280px. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than HTC Flyer, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

HTC Flyer has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has less processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a superior battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a 50 percent greater battery capacity.

HTC Flyer counts with a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the HTC Flyer also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 5 mega pixels resolution.

HTC Flyer is not only the best devices of the ones we are comparing, but it's also cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, making it a very good choice.
