Comparison review
Lenovo Miix 2 11 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a global score of 63.8 against 58.1. Lenovo Miix 2 11's design is way heavier and way thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. The Lenovo Miix 2 11 has Windows 8.1 OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 OS. The Lenovo Miix 2 11 features a much better performing processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Lenovo Miix 2 11 also has a 64-bit processor.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the Lenovo Miix 2 11 have very similar screens, although the Lenovo Miix 2 11 also has a little bit more pixels per inch in the display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a much larger display. The Lenovo Miix 2 11 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
The Lenovo Miix 2 11 features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Lenovo Miix 2 11 also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution. Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a very superior battery life than Lenovo Miix 2 11.
Although Lenovo Miix 2 11 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 8.9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Lenovo Miix 2 11, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 8.9, giving up a couple features and specs.
