Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a overall score of 65.5 against 58.1. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 construction is a bit thicker and way heavier than Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has the newer 3.2 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little more vivid screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a just a little better quantity of pixels per screen inch. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with as much storage to install games and applications as Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features a faster processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have 2 cores, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 also has a GPU. Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 also has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
