Comparison review

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has an overall score of 60.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's general score of 58.1. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has 3.2 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it counts with some additional features and increased performance. Although the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition and Galaxy Tab 8.9 were only released 8 months apart, Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's design is somewhat lighter but also a bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have 2 cores, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has an extra GPU.
