Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a score of 61.7, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's global score of 58.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a newer and way lighter device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, although it is thicker. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has newer 4.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, providing the user lots of additional features and enhanced performance.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same pixels density, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a larger screen and a better 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a graphics processor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a better resolution back camera. Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 50 percent more battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
