The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has an overall score of 68.3, which is better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 score. These devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a heavier device than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but they are 0.35inches thick.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much greater count of pixels per inch in the display and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
