Comparison review
IPad 3 has a score of 71.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s global score of 68.3. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison, iPad 3 is a noticeably older, just a little bit thicker and much heavier portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). IPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) works with Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The Apple iPad 3 features a way better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has more pixels per display inch, a bigger screen and a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a superior memory for games and applications than iPad 3, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 400 GB.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features just a little better performance than iPad 3, because it has 2 more cpu cores and 1 GB more RAM. The iPad 3 counts with a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 11560mAh battery size instead of 5000mAh. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a bit better camera than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a 5 mega pixels camera in the back, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited environments.
IPad 3 is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
