The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is just a bit better than the HTC Jetstream, having a global score of 68.3 against 63.6. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version and HTC Jetstream has Android 3.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) design is much newer, much thinner and noticeably lighter than the HTC Jetstream.

The HTC Jetstream features a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a bit worse 768 x 1280 resolution and a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger display. HTC Jetstream has a CPU that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s CPU, because although the HTC Jetstream has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a superior memory to store more apps and games than HTC Jetstream, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has an external SD slot that holds up to 400 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a little bit better camera than HTC Jetstream, although it has a camera in the back with much less mega-pixels resolution and a lower video quality.

The HTC Jetstream features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a little more expensive than HTC Jetstream, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
