The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a global score of 68.3, which is just a bit better than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's 63.1 global score. Both tablets we are comparing include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version while Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has Android 7.1 Nougat, giving you a couple nice extra features. Although Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is newer than the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, it is thicker and somewhat heavier.

The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a better pixel density. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a greater number of cores.
