Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 68.3 score against 58.8. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) body is way newer and much lighter, but a little bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. These tablets have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, providing the user some additional features and performance tweaks.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a bit inferior amount of pixels per screen inch, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little bigger display. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with much more storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more cores. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has better battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a 6100mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a way better video definition and a camera in the back with a lot better 5 mega-pixels resolution.
