The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a score of 75.2, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s general score of 68.3. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 construction is a bit lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), although it was released many years before.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a superior processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 2 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much more vibrant display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a much better 2560 x 1600 resolution, a little larger display and a lot higher pixel density.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a lower video resolution and a back camera with way less mega-pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 4% larger battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs more than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
