Comparison review
IPad Air is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), with a global score of 77.9 against 74.6. Even being the best in our current comparison, the iPad Air is a notably older, extremely heavier and a bit thicker tablet than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). IPad Air works with iOS 8.x operating system, while Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
Apple iPad Air counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has less RAM and an inferior number of cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an additional GPU. The iPad Air features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a little bit worse pixels amount per inch of screen, it also counts with a bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) takes clearer photos and videos than Apple iPad Air, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a much bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.

The iPad Air is a little more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
