Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active has a general score of 67, which is a little bit better than iPad 2's 62.1 global score. Galaxy Tab Active's design is way newer and way lighter, but thicker than the iPad 2. Galaxy Tab Active works with Android 4.4 OS, while iPad 2 has iOS 7.x OS. The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a more vivid display than iPad 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a little bit better hardware performance than iPad 2, because it has more RAM, more processing cores and a much better GPU running at 450 megahertz. IPad 2 counts with a much better memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
IPad 2 has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 56% bigger battery size. Galaxy Tab Active captures clearer pictures and videos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a lot higher 3.1 MP resolution camera in the back.
Galaxy Tab Active costs a bit more than the iPad 2, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
