Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a general score of 58.1, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab AT&T's 53 general score. These tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a more recent 3.0 version and Galaxy Tab AT&T has Android 2.2. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 construction is a lot thinner but somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab AT&T, and both of them were released only 7 months apart.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a processor that is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab AT&T one, because although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores. Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab AT&T, and although they both have the same display pixel density, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a bigger display and a better 800 x 1280 resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab AT&T, although it has no SD memory card expansion slot. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a way better battery performance than Galaxy Tab AT&T, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.

Galaxy Tab AT&T counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9. They have a 3 mega pixels resolution camera, the same video frame rate and the same video definition.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is also a bargain compared to the other devices.
