Google Pixel Slate's construction is much newer and much thinner, but also heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA comes with Android 2.2 OS.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab CDMA, because it has a much better 3000 x 2000 resolution, a lot larger display and a much greater pixel density.
