Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA, getting a 58.8 score against 53.9. Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has 4.0 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA has Android 2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE body is newer and a lot thinner, but somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab CDMA, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and faster). Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab CDMA, and although they both have the same amount of pixels in each display inch, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a larger screen and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 16 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab CDMA, because it has 6100mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Both have a 3 megapixels resolution back camera, the same 720x480 video resolution and the same video frame rate.
