Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a general score of 64.9, which is a bit better than the iPad 2's 62.1 score. Although Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is just a little bit thicker than iPad 2, it's way lighter and also a lot newer. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, while iPad 2 counts with iOS 7.x operating system.
The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPad 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a bit higher 800 x 1280 resolution. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a bit better processing power than iPad 2, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 takes much clearer photos and videos than iPad 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a bigger aperture for better low-light captures and videos and a much higher 5 MP resolution back-facing camera.
IPad 2 has a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Apple iPad 2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 39% bigger battery capacity.
