Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a global score of 58.1, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0's overall score of 56.7. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has 3.0 version and Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0 has Android 4.4 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 construction is somewhat thinner but notably heavier than Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0.
The Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0 has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, and although they both have the same screen pixel density, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, because it has a back camera with a much better resolution and a lot higher 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
