Apple iPad Air 2 has a score of 79.3, which is much better than Galaxy Tab's score of 58.6. Although Apple iPad Air 2 is heavier than the Galaxy Tab, it's way thinner and also incredibly newer. Apple iPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x OS, and Galaxy Tab comes with Android 2.3.3 OS. IPad Air 2 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way larger screen, a lot higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 and way more pixels per inch in the screen.
Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad Air 2 also has 1,5 GB more RAM and a 64 bits CPU. IPad Air 2 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a back facing camera with way more megapixels and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
IPad Air 2 features much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. Apple iPad Air 2 features a very superior battery life than Galaxy Tab, because it has 7340mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Apple iPad Air 2 costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
