The Google Pixel Slate has a score of 79.3, which is way better than the Galaxy Tab's global score of 58.6. Although Google Pixel Slate is notably heavier than Galaxy Tab, it's extremely thinner and also newer. Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 OS.

The Google Pixel Slate features a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Google Pixel Slate has a better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has much more pixels per display inch, a lot higher resolution of 3000 x 2000px and a much bigger screen.

Google Pixel Slate captures a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a way higher (Full HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with much more mega pixels. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Galaxy Tab, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
