Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is better than the Galaxy Tab's global score of 58.6. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and better performance. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 body is extremely newer, notably thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy Tab.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of faster cores, a greater amount of RAM memory and an additional graphics processing unit.
