Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a general score of 60.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab's general score of 58.6. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus construction is newer, somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a newer 4.1.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, so it offers a couple additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab. They have a screen of the same size, the same pixel density and exactly the same 600 x 1024 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab. They have equal internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab shoots slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both of them have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's battery life is very similar to the battery life in Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab, giving up some specs and features.
