Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than Galaxy Tab, with a global score of 64.8 against 58.6. Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has 4.0.4 version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a newer tablet, and it's also lighter and noticeably thinner than the Galaxy Tab.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory, a larger number of cores and a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a better 800 x 1280 resolution and a quite bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab captures a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7. Both have the same video frame rates, a 3 MP back camera and the same 720x480 video quality. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
